Model 3 Highland (2024+)
In late 2023, Tesla released the updated Model 3, internally codenamed "Highland." This refresh brought significant changes that affect accessory compatibility.
Key Highland Changes:
- Exterior: Slimmer headlights, new front and rear bumpers
- Interior: Removed stalks (turn signals on steering wheel), new center console design
- Lighting: Updated ambient lighting system
- NVH: Improved noise isolation
What This Means for Accessories:
Many accessories designed for pre-2024 Model 3 vehicles will NOT fit the Highland version. Key differences include:
| Accessory Type | Pre-2024 Model 3 | Model 3 Highland |
|---|---|---|
| Screen Protectors | Different dimensions | Slimmer bezel design |
| Center Console | Sliding cover | Redesigned storage |
| Steering Wheel | With stalks | Stalkless (buttons) |
| Dashboard Trim | Different clip pattern | Updated mounting |
OZEV Highland Accessories:
We offer a growing range of accessories specifically designed for the Highland Model 3:
- Gear shift stalk conversion kits
- Highland-specific screen protectors
- Updated center console organizers
- Carbon fiber dashboard covers
Model Y Juniper (2025 Update)
Tesla's popular Model Y is expected to receive its major refresh in 2025, codenamed "Juniper." While details are still emerging, we expect similar changes to those seen in the Highland Model 3.
Expected Juniper Changes:
- Exterior design refresh with new lighting
- Interior updates matching Highland aesthetic
- Potential stalk removal
- Improved efficiency and range
Current Model Y (Pre-Juniper)
The current Model Y shares many components with the pre-2024 Model 3. Most accessories that fit 2017-2023 Model 3 will also fit Model Y, with some exceptions:
- Screen protectors are different sizes
- Floor mats are model-specific
- Exterior accessories vary due to body shape
How to Identify Your Model
Model 3 Highland Identification:
- Exterior: Slimmer, more angular headlights
- Interior: No turn signal stalk (buttons on steering wheel)
- Console: No sliding cover, open storage design
- VIN: 2024+ build dates (typically)
Model Y Identification:
- Current: Traditional Tesla interior with stalks
- Juniper (2025+): Will feature Highland-style updates
