DIY Installation Guide: OZEV Tesla Accessories
Many of our accessories are designed for easy DIY installation. This guide covers the basics for our most popular products.

Screen Protectors
Tools Needed:
- Microfiber cloth (included)
- Dust removal stickers (included)
- Squeegee card (included)
Installation Steps:
- Clean the screen: Use the microfiber cloth to thoroughly clean your Tesla's center display. Ensure no dust or fingerprints remain.
- Remove dust: Use the dust removal stickers to pick up any remaining particles.
- Align the protector: Hold the screen protector by the edges and align it with the display. The cutouts should match the screen corners perfectly.
- Apply gently: Starting from one edge, slowly lower the protector onto the screen. Let it adhere naturally.
- Remove bubbles: Use the squeegee card to push out any air bubbles from the center outward.
USB Hub Docks
Compatibility:
Compatible with Tesla Model 3 and Model Y center console storage compartments.
Installation:
- Remove items from your center console storage area.
- Slide the USB hub dock into the compartment. It should fit snugly without force.
- Connect the USB cables to your Tesla's existing USB ports.
- Route cables neatly through the provided cable management channels.
- Replace the storage cover if applicable.
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
⚠️ Professional Installation Recommended
Carbon fiber replacement pieces require removal of existing trim panels. Incorrect installation may damage your vehicle's interior.
Basic Steps (for reference only):
- Power off your vehicle completely.
- Carefully remove existing trim using plastic pry tools (not included).
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
- Align the new carbon fiber piece and press firmly into place.
- Ensure all clips are properly engaged.
Gear Shift Stalks (Model 3 Highland)
⚠️ Professional Installation Required
This modification involves your vehicle's steering column and electronic systems. We strongly recommend professional installation at our Queensland facility or by a certified automotive technician.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues:
- Bubbles under screen protector: Lift the nearest edge and reapply using the squeegee.
- USB hub not recognized: Check connections and restart your Tesla's center screen (hold both scroll wheels).
- Trim piece loose: Ensure the mounting surface was clean during installation.
